In this section we will place requests from REPA members and others as well as announcements of importance to our membership. If you are looking for an EAL employee, relaying sickness status, seeking information of EAL history, announcing reunions and other general requests, this would be the page to post such messages. Please send your request to Jim Holder via the contact information on the Contact Us page of this website, and it will be posted.

EAL RADIO SHOW REMINDER

This is a reminder of our first live radio broadcast of the EAL Radio Show – for and about the people of Eastern Airlines.

The broadcast will launch at Friday, January 7th at 6 p.m. Eastern time. You will be able to go to our web site www.ealradioshow.com to tune in (It’s at the bottom of the Home Page), or to our service provider at http://www.blogtalkradio.com/capteddie

At either URL address you will see a small blue radio player. Just click the arrow to start the broadcast. Hopefully, you will hear the beautiful theme music of Eastern Airlines at the shows beginning. We will broadcast the call-in phone number several times during the show if you wish to participate – and we hope you will.

This first show will include the way we intend to conduct our broadcast and a short monologue after which we will get right to the callers. We hope you will be one of these. Depending on the number of calls received during the show will determine how long we will stay with each caller. Remember, this is our first show and I suspect there will be a “comedy of errors” during this first hour on the air.

Please give us your criticism as well as suggestions as to what you want to hear on a show such as this.

If you have to miss this first show, it will be archived for you to enjoy later at your convenience. We plan to archive all our shows for those hearing about the EAL Radio Show in the future and who wish to catch up on the news about their Eastern friends.

You will dictate what we broadcast in our future programs by your input and feedback. We want you to be part of this live radio show. If you feel like hosting a show let us know. Got a “skit” for an opener, please send it to us. Have a talent at writing show scripts; we need to hear from you. This is your “radio hour” and we want it to be on the lighter-side, informative, and entertaining.

You’ve got your boarding pass, now let’s all get on-board Friday, January 7th at 6 p.m.

I’ll be there and I’ll see you at the gate.

Let’s all fly this airplane together – the way we did at Eastern.
