Please
read this message closely if you plan to attend the November
7th REPA Convention!
We
have exceeded our contractually guaranteed number of rooms!
However the King and Prince is continuing to honor the REPA
rate of $125.00 (free parking) at this time. We do not know
how much longer they will do this! Since the hotel is smaller
than ones we are used to it is possible that they may run
out of rooms at the REPA rate well before the start of the
convention... Therefore we urge anyone considering attending
the Convention to immediately call the hotel at 1-800-342-0212
and make their reservations!
Also
we have placed an additional message concerning two matters
on the Convention News page of this website... Please go to
it via the Convention News button on the left side of this
screen...

Follows
below an important message for those planning to attend the
November 7th REPA Convention... It is from Jim Gardner, our
Convention Chairman
REPA
Convention 2010 News Bulletin:
For
those who want to come early to enjoy the King and Prince
Golf and Beach Resort please make note of the fact that while
the K&P is glad to offer REPA convention attendees the
REPA rate for early arrivals based on availability, because
our convention starts on Sunday we have run into a conflict
with their long standing procedure for booking weekends (Friday
and Saturday).
It
seems that some of our members want to come in on Saturday,
one day early. The King and Prince has a policy of selling
weekend (Friday and Saturday)packages only. We have made a
compromise with them. If you wish to come in on Saturday,
they will book your room for Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday,
but will put you on a wait list for early arrival on Saturday.
When the convention draws close and they have not sold the
Friday/Saturday packages out, they will call you and offer
you the Saturday early arrival at the REPA rate.
Important
Note: They will be happy to immediately offer you an early
arrival for Friday and Saturday night at the REPA rate if
you are willing to come two days early instead on one.
There
is no conflict with staying one day late instead of two because
it does not fall on the weekend.
Remember
that early arrivals and late departures at the REPA rate is
based on availability. Also remember that we are getting a
great hotel at a fantastic deal in one of their most popular
seasons.
Please
let me know if you have any trouble.
Best
Regards
Jim

Folks,
we are pleased to report that the summer 2010 issue of REPArtee
was mailed yesterday, June 30th, a day or so before our "First
Week in July" promise!
We
certainly hope all who have recently changed addresses or
went to a summer home have given us their correct mailing
address... It makes our life sooooooo much better!

Great
News!
For
those with winter or summer homes and especially for your
Editor!
Our
Treasurer and Keeper of the Database, Jerry Frost, has been
working on a program that will enable him to keep TWO (2) Address of Record for those needing same· He reports
that it is now up and running. So effective immediately those
with winter or summer homes (or any others who might have
two addresses and who would benefit from this new program)
should contact Jerry (or your editor) and give us the below
information·
(1)Your
primary Address of Record including telephone number and E-mail
address if desired·
(2)
Also your secondary Address of Record including telephone
number if one there. This would be the summer or winter home
for most folks· (3) Now this is very important so make sure
you have it down pat! We need to know the Date you will be
going to and returning from your secondary Address of record.
Jerry
says that when the above is entered into the Database he will
have the ability each time a publication mailing list is generated,
twice a year on odd years and three times a year on even years
(when we also mail the new roster) to have either your primary
or secondary address printed on your publication. Now also
remember, you have the ability to change any address or date
any time you wish. Just contact either Jerry or myself with
those changes. We
will enter the information and that will become your NEW primary
and secondary Address of Record (along with the dates you
go from one to the other) and remain so until you change it
with us again· You can make the changes by telephone, US Mail
(our addresses are in the REPA Roster and REPArtee)
or E-mail·

for information on a variety of subjects.
