Folks….
This
message contains two items about the upcoming REPA Convention…
First
we were requested to put the Agenda for the Business Meeting
out prior to the Convention, so as to let those attending
know what will be discussed… Of course additional items
can be added under New Business (#12) at the meeting (2/3
vote required)… At any rate here it is below (note:
due to being in the body of the text it may lose some of its
alignment)…
Following
the Agenda will be a message from Convention Chairman Jim
Gardner concerning another matter.

The
following message from Convention Chairman Jim Gardner was
approved by REPA President Bill Moore…
Conventioneers
& Revelers at the K&P,
Just
a heads up for all of you who enjoy visiting at the Cocktail
Reception each evening:
In
order to keep within budget, we are introducing a Host Bar/Cash
Bar for all Cocktail Receptions. We will institute a two (2)
drink Host Bar limit per attendee each night. Each attendee
will be given two coupons for each night (in your registration
package). If you want additional drinks, they will be available
at our negotiated reduced rate for bar brands. Of course,
for those of us with exotic taste, the prices will be at regular
hotel bar rates.
If
you don’t use both your tickets, you can barter them
to a friend who wants more than two drinks.
The
Black Market potential for drink coupons will be minimal as
the drink coupons will be colored-coded per night, but can
be used as long as the bar is open that night. LOST COUPONS
WON’T BE REPLACED.
We
have an obligation to keep our REPA convention expenses within
budget. With our numbers dwindling and costs going up, this
seems to be one of the easier ways to help keep us within
budget and ensure our convention covers its own expenses with
minimal impact on each person’s pocket.
If
you have any comments or suggestions, please give me a call
or email.

Gardner
